Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz (TX-15) issued the following statement in response to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ visit to the Rio Grande Valley on Thursday, May 4: "Secretary Mayorkas' photo op against the backdrop of a border humanitarian crisis the Biden administration has known for months would happen only confirms that his impeachment is long overdue. That is why I have already introduced legislation to start this process. Next week, the House will take up the Secure Our Border Act to address the fiasco the Biden Administration has created and refuses to fix." |
