250 years ago, America chose freedom. From South Texas to DC, we are celebrating our great country and thrilled to invite constituents of TX-15 South Texas to join us! This summer will be a once-in-a-generation celebration and there is no better place to honor our history and look toward our bright future than right here in our nation's Capital.

Washington, D.C. will be the center of the national stage with four major events you won't want to miss! Check out more below:

The Great American State Fair

  • Date: June 25, 2026 - July 10, 2026

  • Location: National Mall

  • The Experience: We’re bringing the heart of the country to the capital! This massive fair will feature exhibits from all 50 states, live music, and agricultural showcases. It’s a perfect opportunity to see how the traditions we cherish in South Texas contribute to the great American story.

Salute to America 250 Celebration & Fireworks

  • Date: July 4, 2026

  • Location: National Mall

  • The Experience: Experience the most spectacular Independence Day in history. With special performances and a record-breaking fireworks display over the monuments, this July 4th will be a memory your family treasures forever.

IndyCar Washington D.C. Street Race (Freedom 250 Grand Prix)

  • Date: August 21, 2026

  • Location: Washington, D.C. Streets

  • The Experience: Close out the summer with high-octane excitement. For the first time, IndyCars will roar through the streets of the District. It’s a fast-paced, modern tribute to American innovation and competitive spirit.
